What happens during the class?

As the class starts, fun music will be playing, aprons are handed out and make sure all guests have a pencil in one had & a drink in the other. Throughout the class, our professionally trained teacher will run fun activities that allow the group to relax and find their inner-artists. Nobody needs to know how to draw. There is a break midway through the two-hour session, which is a great opportunity to refresh your drink. Please note the Your Place package does not include food or drinks.
Is it strictly for women?

Our events are all inclusive! All genders & gender non-conforming are welcome!
Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no minimum or maximum number of participants. However there is a minimum charge, which is the equivalent of a group size of 10 for the Classic Package, 8 for Your Place and 10 for Online.
Do I need to pay a deposit?

In order to secure your booking you will need to pay a non-refundable $300 deposit.
Do you only do Bachelorette parties?

Be it a birthday, anniversary, divorce AKA "Freedom party," LGBTQ+, reunion, girls night in, survived the pandemic… whatever – we love hosting groups that find any occasion to celebrate!
Are there any age restrictions?

21+ for all events except at private venues. Anyone 18/19/20 must be accompanied by a chaperone that will guarantee they are not drinking.
Does it matter if we can't draw?

No! It's not about being Picasso – just expect to learn a little and laugh a lot...
Do you do custom packages?

These are our second favorite kind of package. Contact us on +1 (646) 470-1760 and we'll make it happen.
Is the model completely naked?

Yes they will be. However if you feel it will make you more comfortable, we can convince them to wear their underwear.
What is figure drawing

To get technical and arty, figure drawing is "a study of the naked form in its various shapes and postures." Having inspired everyone from Michelangelo through to Matisse, figure drawing classes were banned to women until only last century. Think of the Artful Bachelorette as a way to right this injustice.
Are taxes and tips included?

Tax is fully included. Our models and staff are well compensated, however they are also very professional and charming. We recommend a 15% tip. There is a 3.5% credit card service or a 1% bank to bank transfer fee added to cover the cost of Square's fees.
Cancelation Policy

Due to the nature of our events, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled party to avoid paying for the full balance of the party. This gives us the opportunity to cancel the staff and venue*. Please email in writing your cancelation. If you have to cancel your class & do so BEFORE 48 hrs, we will offer you a credit for the $300 deposit to use again for up to 1 full calendar year. If you cancel AFTER the 48 hours, you will forfeit your deposit. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OF ANY KIND. The owner has the only right to be flexible here. *Some venues have a 72 hour or more cancelation policy, most venues have 10 DAY CXL POLICY. In this case the client would be responsible for paying for the venue.
Do we get to keep our drawings?

You can take your drawings with you, or we'll happily collect them and post them to you free of charge to one address.
Can we photograph the model?

At the end of the class there will be a photo session with the model. Should you wish to take photos during the class, we ask that you hand the camera to the teacher, who will happily take the pic for you. This is how we ensure our model feels comfortable.
Do you do gay parties?

Absolutely.

Can I work for The Artful Bachelorette

How do you pay?

We will send you a detailed invoice after we receive the deposit. This is due 48 hours before your event. We accept all major credit cards. We request that our customers pay as a group.
Can I get a refund on my deposit?

Unfortunately the deposits are non-refundable. Once your deposit is placed, we book the venue & staff. While the deposit is non-refundable, in some instances (with enough of a heads up) we can divert/save your deposit for you to use for up to 1 full calendar year to book with a new date/time. * Depending on availability.
Are the models really, really cute?

Yep.
When are classes?

We can accommodate classes any day of the week. However Saturday afternoon and early evenings are by the far the most popular times, so we recommend booking for these times as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
